I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping people to understand their own challenges and ways to overcome them while nurturing their personal goals and the ability to connect with others. I believe that each person who engages in their own healing journey will have the opportunity to not only change their life, but may also impact the lives of others in the process. To navigate through personal problems shows tremendous strength and I know therapy is great starting point. What helps me stay focused and driven as a therapist is the belief that having the capacity to heal is a true form of resilience. I want to help my clients reach their goals and thrive in life.
In our first session together, I expect us to get to know each other and determine a goal that you fully agree on. I may ask questions about what you want out of life and the person you would like to become.
As a provider, my greatest strength is rapport building. I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of healing in a clinical setting. Building rapport and trust can deeply impact how a person can develop and grow.
I am eager to work with individuals, couples, or families who have the intention to create change and growth in their lives. I want to help people to become the best version of themselves. I work best with people who are willing to explore parts of themselves in order to heal and develop. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which I find to be especially helpful for those who struggle with attachment trauma and personality disorders. I have a passion to work with people who are intentional about understanding the root of their issues and challenges and finding ways to address their problems by creating sustainable solutions. I enjoy working with open-minded clients who are able to engage in therapy to enhance their lives and impact others through their healing journey.
Integrating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in conjunction with other trauma-informed therapeutic modalities can be very helpful in helping my clients to find ways to navigate distress, regulate their emotions, and connect with their support systems in healthy ways.
Creating solutions and strategies to cope during moments in life that seem overwhelming can be of the utmost importance in persevering.
