My name is Bernard Kofi Marfo. I am a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Texas, Iowa & Arizona. I am a managing partner at Hope Psychiatry & Associates PLLC, an outpatient mental health clinic located at Frisco, Texas. I have diverse clinical background in critical care, mental health & psychiatric consults, diagnosis, treatment of common psychiatric problems, illness, crises, and pharmacologic management. My practice module is based on individual client-centered and culturally competent treatment approach. I pride myself in working with clients through compassion, empathy, respect, and humility to reduce the stigma of mental illness, promote mental health, and improve their overall health. I look forward to be part of the team helping you to get your life back and living happily.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then drive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me formulate a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to build a strong therapeutic provider-client relationship based on trust, respect, and empathy.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with all clients to provide the best mental health support they may need. My Clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality.
