I am Charles Zaglin a Trauma, Complex Trauma, and PTSD LPC with 20+ years of experience as a Traumatologist and over 55 years as a PTSD/Trauma survivor. My style is empathic, eclectic, honest, humorous, and interactive. Together we will tailor a protocol to fit your needs. I believe in ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and ACCEPTANCE. With regards to PTSD and Trauma, I take on a three "C" approach. That being "Control, Courage, and Compassion." We will acknowledge your trauma without judgement, guilt, shame, fear, or self-blame and accept what happened but not let it identify or define you. *Please note I require a 24 notice if you choose to cancel an appointment* I look forward to our journey together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will begin to get to know each other, the issues that you are facing and the best modality to use to bring about the healing process. Building of trust between myself and the client is so important as a predictor for an ongoing positive relationship. Also, if it is determined to be helpful in the healing process give Homework Assignments. "YAY!"

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have specialized in the treatment of PTSD for over 20+ years. My own experience as a PTSD survivor is over 50+ years. My style is Eclectic in that I use whatever methodology fits best with each client. I adapt my style to meet the needs of the client that I am working with.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Words are best when they are paired with action. Words without action simply stays in ones my mind, never progressing in reality only in theory.

Eclectic

An effective therapist must be able to custom fit a treatment method to meet the needs of the individual. It must be a custom-fit like a beautiful set of clothes.
