My expertise spans a variety of settings, including outpatient, intensive in-home, wraparound services, residential, and inpatient care. I have extensive experience in addressing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. My passion is helping children and teens recognize and regulate their emotions, as well as assisting them in effectively communicating and expressing their feelings. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Marymount University and a Master of Arts in Community Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I practice in Virginia.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past two years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life. Additionally, I’ve helped children and teens learn to develop a sense of emotional recognition with CBT.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I’ve used skill sets from the DBT treatment modality to aid in development of various skill sets to help manage depression and anxiety and help to regulate distressful feelings associated with related symptoms.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have several years of experience working with individuals and families with various life stressors and assisting them with identifying healthy solutions.
