My name is Shanet Brown I am a licensed LPC in the state of Texas. I have over 7 years of experience in the counseling field through education, practicum, and internship experience. I own my own non-profit that is focused on maternal health, child loss, and the well-being of babies through me providing doula services. I am a special education teacher for Killeen ISD. I am currently a doctorate student at Liberty University majoring in EdD in Community Care and Counseling-Traumatology located in Lynchburg, Virginia. I have my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas located in Killeen, TX. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Human Development concentration in Psychology from SUNY Empire State University located in Saratoga Springs, NY. I have my Associates in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College located in Garden City, New York.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will consist of going over intake paperwork, going over the therapeutic relationship, creating a treatment plan that consists of goals and strategies I will use to help guide the client to reach their goal.

My greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to listen as well as guide the client through their individual process.
