Have you been struggling with a mental block that has been keeping you from reaching your goals or living according to your values? Are you tired of just surviving instead of living? You've come to the right place, and I want to reassure you that it is possible for change and things to get better. My name is Sheryl, and I have a passion for helping others live a less restrictive lifestyle, identify goals, and gain a greater sense of fulfillment. I can help you process things of the past, tune in more to the present, and address your worries about the future. I can help you set healthy boundaries so you can live a balanced life and reach your goals. If you don’t have goals, no problem, we can find something together that would be meaningful for you. I have helped people overcome depression and anxiety in order to live more fulfilling lives, build healthy relationships, and repair strained relationships. More importantly, I have supported young people in identifying their sense of self or who they want to be. I also have experience working with families who struggle with cultural and generational gaps. I like to promote fitness/exercise and mindfulness in my work. I truly believe in the mind and body connection, and like to incorporate a lot of mindfulness and body exercises into my practice. If any of these sound interesting then let’s work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to have some time to share a couple areas they would like to focus on in therapy, goals or things they'd like to achieve, and we can discuss whether I am the right fit for your needs. If we are a good match, I will share how sessions will be structured and we can talk about our mutual expectations. I will also provide you with one or two things to do or practice after our session so we can debrief about it in our second session.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Getting over the barriers of our worries and fears in order to live a life aligned with our values is what I specialize in. We can work together on leaning into the discomfort and expanding your horizon. I can help you change unhelpful habits and look at things in a more flexible angle.
