Hi! I work with overwhelmed women who struggle with parenting, people-pleasing and perfectionism who want to learn to set boundaries and make decisions so that they can find balance and joy in the multiple roles they are filling (mother, wife, friend, daughter, employee, manager, etc.). I aim to help you learn to find your passion, set boundaries, cope with anxiety, process and plan for changes in your life, or heal from past trauma.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will briefly go over introductions, confidentiality, and a few things to expect while working together. Then we will spend the majority of the session discussing your history, the things that have brought you to therapy and discussing what goals you want to work towards. This session is more general than our future sessions. At the end of this session, I will walk you through what working together will look like and what to expect in future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I would describe myself as warm and authentic. I encourage you to be open and authentic. Therapy works best when you can bring your true thoughts and feelings into session. I work to provide a non-judgmental space for you to be able to do this.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients challenge their thoughts about perfectionism and anxiety. Together, we explore your self-talk and how to change it in ways that help you move forward towards your goals.

EMDR

EMDR can help you reprocess trauma in a way that would make a past event have less of an impact on your daily functioning.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-focused brief therapy helps us determine what resources and skills you already have that you can apply to the problems you are currently facing in your life. It helps with overcoming specific problems.
