Hello! I have a Masters of Social Work and am licensed in TX, SC, MN, VA, and NV to provide therapeutic services. I have experience working with those who have addictions and sexual disorders, as well as experience with those with chronic mental illnesses and suicidal/homicidal ideations. I most enjoy empowering individuals who struggle with self-esteem or identity issues, who are having relationship difficulties, or have let their overthinking tendencies consume too much of their life. If you're ready to take back control of your life, you're in the right place!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

It is my hope that each of my clients feel more at ease with their life and more empowered to tackle their stressors once outside of the session. Sometimes all we need in life is someone listening or encouraging us to make those changes we've always known we've needed to make.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel as if my greatest strength is providing an empathetic, yet empowering approach. Life can be hard and some of us often resort to that negative self-talk and tearing ourselves down. This just makes us feel stuck and unable to grow. I feel the most fulfilled in my work when I can see a client's confidence increasing through therapy and how this often trickles out into others areas of their life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals who want a change in their life, but just need some encouragement and direction to make that change happen. The unknown can be a scary thought, but I'm here to support and empower you to take charge of your life and make positive changes towards a brighter future.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

A strengths based approach is the driving force behind my therapeutic style. Life can be hard, and often times, individuals can be their own worst enemy. Focusing more so on strengths can help with self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Together, we will highlight your strengths and use those to empower you to work through areas of wanted change and growth.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been a focus in my practice for the past two years. First, I’ll provide some psychoeducation on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected. We will then work together to examine and reframe some of your unhealthy thinking patterns that are negatively impacting you and preventing you from living the life of your dreams.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a central part of the therapy I provide. This is your life and therapeutic journey. I am here to listen to and empower you to make positive changes in your life. With that said, we will take it a pace you are comfortable with because change can be a source of anxiety. I am here to make this as positive of a journey as possible.
