I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II (CCTP II). I graduated from Liberty University and have been working at the local Community Service Board serving clients for the last 8 years in various capacities and have been licensed since 2022. Together, the client and I create goals based on the information provided and the reason for seeking counseling. I have a high success rate of assisting clients to the point of discharge where they are able to manage their emotions independently.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session the client and I start to develop the trust/therapeutic relationship that is the foundation for a successful treatment plan. After obtaining a history and reason for seeking services, together we create goals and establish coping skills to assist with issues presented.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a empathetic listener that will allow the client to vent and express his/her emotions. I guide the client through use of information they provide to assist with managing any maladaptive behaviors or concerns.
