As a therapist, I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, various types of trauma history, parenting obstacles, and other mental health struggles. I currently work with youth and adults in the foster care system and enjoy walking alongside those trying to sort through their past, cope within the present, and plan toward future goals. I have also worked with many individuals who have experienced physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.
Our first session might be difficult and I want to hold space for all you are feeling and applaud you for taking the first step in showing up for you. What a powerful step that is. The first time we meet will be an information gathering session in which I will ask questions about things in your life that can impact your mental health. Please share what you feel comfortable sharing. It's helpful to know what you're currently struggling with so that I can see how to best serve you.

I am hopeful and wish to instill hope in each client I work with so that they can gain a stronger sense of self-awareness and self-growth. I believe every person deserves respect within a safe and healthy place to grapple with life's challenges. My approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based techniques tailored to fit each client's individual needs.
