Hello! My name is Char and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the mental health field for the past 20+ years. I use a cognitive-behavioral approach that I find to be very effective in therapy. I believe in empowement, healing and growth, they all work well together! I have worked with many populations including military, dependents and veterans. My focus is to help you become the best version of you, collaboratively.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Getting to know each other and exploring possible goals for therapy. I start a psychosocial assessment that involves gathering information about your lifestyle, family relationships, medical and mental health history, legal and abuse history, functioning, interests, what brought you to therapy and your expectations of this. I provide a safe and supportive setting. Sometimes we just want someone neutral to talk to so share what you feel comfortable sharing, no worries!

Empowerment, support and growth. I like to get to know my clients. I believe in a collaborative approach, working together and building trust over time. My sessions are informal, open and just be you!
