Nikki is a neurobehavioral clinician who works with childhood and adult trauma, neuro-developmental and neuro-cognitive disorders, family issues, and children and adults with chronic illnesses. Nikki received her bachelor's degree in social work at Lourdes University and completed her master's degree in clinical social work at Campbellsville University. Nikki received specialized training at Johns Hopkins University in mental health issues for individuals with neurological illnesses.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Nikki's preferred therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and psychanalytic approaches. Nikki also uses neurofeedback, psychoeducation, exploration of cognitions, and encourages self-reflection though journaling and other homework activities.

Clinical strengths include extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices to provide each client with effective treatment interventions that are research proven to treat client's individual diagnosis. Clinician offers knowledge in mental health considerations when managing chronic illnesses, as well as counseling for parents, children and caregivers of those with chronic illness and mental health issues. Clinician has obtained training and specializes in providing trauma-informed therapy to children and adults with history of trauma and abuse.
