Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Science Degree and 12 years of clinical experience working with trauma, depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety, substance use/addictions, grief and loss, and life transitions, specializing in men's issues. Currently licensed in California and Oregon. My therapy approach seeks to leverage client strengths to support them in addressing their needs, achieving their goals, and developing a sense of fulfillment and wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will take time for brief introductions, review some guidelines to make the best of our work together and to answer any questions you may have about my practice or therapy in general. This will be followed by an in-depth exploration of the challenges or concerns you are experiencing, and together we will develop a plan to address them, this plan will include both your goals and personal strengths.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having been exposed directly to depression, anxiety, addictive behaviors, and other life challenges I have developed a deep understanding of some of the concerns my clients go through beyond the clinical framework which I consider as an asset to support my clients in their journey of recovery and growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an Evidence-Based Practice I utilize to assist clients in identifying unproductive and self-defeating thought patterns that impact the person's emotions and behaviors, and shifting the internal narrative to promote the attainment of their goals. Fostering self-empowerment and competence, developing effective strategies to achieve wellness. CBT is a present-focused, goal-oriented, and strength based modality that has proven effective to address trauma-related issues, depression, anxiety, substance use problems, and other conditions.
