I believe it takes maturity to recognize that you need help and courage to ask for help. I help people by using a collaborative strength-based approach. My ideal client is suffering from the pain of divorce, a failed interpersonal relationship, a chronic illness or if you need guidance on finding your purpose. If you have a chronic or recurring illness that leaves you feeling like a foreigner in your own body, or if you do not feel filled up with life, I am here to help. I can help you to manage and overcome difficult emotional periods in your life so you can feel better and in control. This is done through the development of a confidential therapeutic relationship that is supportive and encouraging while helping you to change beliefs that no longer serve you.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
You can expect to feel calm, supported and have better insight into your situation and your feelings while learning coping skills to manage the difficult emotions that go along with making changes.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have had experience working with chronically ill people and with women who have relationship conflicts. My biggest strengths as a clinician are anxiety, depression and grief.
