I believe it takes maturity to recognize that you need help and courage to ask for help. I help people by using a collaborative strength-based approach. My ideal client is suffering from the pain of divorce, a failed interpersonal relationship, a chronic illness or if you need guidance on finding your purpose. If you have a chronic or recurring illness that leaves you feeling like a foreigner in your own body, or if you do not feel filled up with life, I am here to help. I can help you to manage and overcome difficult emotional periods in your life so you can feel better and in control. This is done through the development of a confidential therapeutic relationship that is supportive and encouraging while helping you to change beliefs that no longer serve you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can expect to feel calm, supported and have better insight into your situation and your feelings while learning coping skills to manage the difficult emotions that go along with making changes.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have had experience working with chronically ill people and with women who have relationship conflicts. My biggest strengths as a clinician are anxiety, depression and grief.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

A lot of times our thoughts govern our mood and behaviors. Using CBT can help us to challenge, distract or change these thoughts that negatively affect us.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Life is hard for everyone but we all have period that causes us to have trouble sleeping or controlling our breath and the racing of our hearts due to stress. Barring medical issues, Mindfulness can be effective in helping us to manage our thoughts and our bodies.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy can be helpful when you are stuck and do not know what is holding you back. It can be helpful to reach the thoughts or memories in our subconscious that stops us from reaching the next level professionally or personally.
