I understand that clients are experts in their own lives, but sometimes they need help with unwanted thoughts, symptoms, or behaviors. Reaching out for help can be difficult for all kinds of reasons. I want to reassure you with words from Brené Brown “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to." I want to help you work on becoming the best version of yourself. Loneliness, social anxiety, and just dealing with a constantly changing world can sometimes make anyone feel out of control. I want to help give you back that feeling of being in control of your life. No two people are the same and because of this I utilize different modalities. Together we will find the best treatment for you. I specialize in helping people with trauma (abuse, assault, childhood, military), social anxiety, depression, and other issues. I want you to build on your strengths in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I am ready to listen to your story. Together we will find the best version of you. Contact me so that we can begin your healing journey.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I believe in helping my clients discover the best versions of themselves. My clients need to be able to share their stories without any judgment. I understand that clients are the experts when discussing their lives, but sometimes help is needed. Putting your needs first, we will determine what approach is best. We’ll create goals, and together figure out how you can live the life that is right and true for you.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use different modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Grief Therapy, and Holistic Therapy, as part of the process of helping you find your truth and strengths as we discuss what has brought you to counseling. I am ready to listen and help walk your journey with you.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I want my clients to feel safe and comfortable with me. I hope I can provide them a place that they can open up about what they are needing to talk about. I have worked with clients from all walks of life, including Military Service Members and their families, couples, vets, and those with a history of abuse. I listen to my client's needs and how to best treat what they are going through. Having a safe space to be yourself, is very important to me and I want all of my clients to feel they have that with me.
