I've been through my own trauma and done my own therapy work (and continue to do so), so I know what it's like to take these big steps and make some difficult changes. I've reached a point at which I'm able to help others to grow and improve their lives by identifying core thoughts and beliefs that are holding them back, and specific skills they can work on to take more control over their lives.
The intake session is going to be full of questions to gather more information about you and your goals, as well as a discussion of diagnoses. The goal is to gain understanding. We'll also build our schedule.
I'm comfortable with just about everyone, understanding, and ask good questions. I'm able to summarize and simplify individual storylines to make everything seem a little less overwhelming and more manageable.
