There are always solutions for problems that we encounter, even the problems that we have been stuck with for quite some time. Though, there is no quick fix or one-size approach either. Therapy is a collaborative healing process to improve functioning in several areas of our life. I take a collaborative approach and have experience working with children, teens, and adults to address a variety of disorders. These include stress, trauma, grief, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, neurological disorders, parenting styles, and other mental health issues impairing functioning in daily routine. I am continuously learning through training, collaboration, and current readings to ensure quality care.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will gather information and ask several questions to paint a clinical picture. During this time we begin to build rapport as well. At the end of session we collaborate and develop a treatment plan and decide on scheduling.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Areas that are my biggest strength are developing a therapeutic relationship and my love of learning. Establishing a trusting relationship is important because the space we develop must feel safe and comfortable. Also, I love to learn so I invest time into enhancing my skills and doing research.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with all ages to provide tools for challenges such as anxiety, depression, or other issues that feel difficult to overcome.
