Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), in Southern California. I have 6 years experience in working with adults, couples, and families. My therapeutic style includes an unwavering commitment to working together in pursuit of your mental well-being. My communication style is personable, relaxed and encouraging. My goal is to create a safe space to process your thoughts without judgement.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I want to start getting to know you! In an effort to do so we will be going through a questionnaire on our first session, which involves me asking you questions about yourself both from the past and present. I'd also like to know what specific challenges you are facing or any other topics you'd wish to discuss in our session. From these conversations I help to create a plan to help manage your concerns. Additionally, there will be time in our first session for you to ask me questions. If you are feeling comfortable with our conversation at this point we set an appointment to continue sessions to work on your identified concerns.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am on your side to face and help manage the stressor you are experiencing. I am here to assist you in recognizing your power to transform your life into what you want it to be.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

In my experiences with using attachment based treatment I've watched how its helped clients explore attachment figures in childhood and how those past relationships inform current relationship dynamics. I've seen how this recognition of past attachment figures has helped clients not only resolve traumas of the past but also apply to present relationships. Making for more fulfilling relationships with self and others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavior therapy helps in making the connection between how our thoughts create our feelings and then dictate our behaviors. This type of therapy practice is especially helpful when you find yourself in an unhelpful thought pattern that is causing distress. Through practice, CBT teaches how to change these thoughts, which changes the feelings and behaviors connected to them.

Couples Counseling

In couples therapy I seek to create a safe space and opportunities for individuals to be heard, specifically in the presence of their partner. In my experiences with couples I have seen how transformative it can when couples are given the opportunity to discuss, acknowledge, and be validated, in their thoughts, and feelings.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

We are all different and I truly respect and admire these differences. I am naturally curious of the different thoughts and perspectives of my clients. I've found that my curiosity of differences has been affirming for my clients from all different walks of life. Furthermore, I have come to highly regard cultural sensitivity therapy through my own personal cultural experiences.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness therapy involves learning how to recognize our thoughts without forming opinions or judgement. Just because we have the thought, does not make it true. Through practice, this is a tool that is helpful to manage complex or critical and intrusive thoughts.
