Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Diana Uribe, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals empower themselves and live their best lives! I have a B.A. from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and obtained my MSW from the University of California, Los Angeles. During my education and career, I've had the opportunity to work with victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, older adults, veterans, hospice patients, and survivors of childhood abuse and trauma. I've also taught parenting classes and life skills workshops and facilitated counseling support groups. I know that it can be difficult to seek help. It would be an honor for me to partner with you in order to reach your emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. I am currently accepting teletherapy clients for therapy and life coaching on a biweekly basis. Please feel free to reach out and tell me about yourself and what you're looking for. I look forward to hearing from you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

It is helpful to schedule a consultation first in order to get an idea of whether or not we'd be a good fit. In our initial therapy session, I will want to know more about what's been going on that led you to seek therapy and what you'd like to get out of therapy. I will never push for information that you're not comfortable sharing at the beginning, but I may ask some difficult questions regarding history and past trauma to start identify potential treatment goals and best modalities for addressing challenges.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am trained in various treatment modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trauma Informed Care. I also have experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My areas of specialization include treating anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, and attachment-focused challenges.
