Welcome! I was once taught that a person’s mental health improves just by taking the initial steps to schedule a therapy appointment. You are taking the first step towards making lasting change. As a licensed clinical social worker, I recognize your story matters and I want to provide you with a secure, caring environment where you can process your feelings, work towards your personal goals and gain practical tools to launch you to new perspectives. My specialties include trauma, emotional regulation, depression, and anxiety while processing your unique stressors. Each of us is impacted by our experiences, life choices, and families and our unique stories mold us. It would be my honor to meet with you and help you unpack and build skills to reach your goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

From the start of the therapy experience, I want you to share your story with me and I want to get to know you and your goals in therapy. From there, we will work together to develop a plan of action based on your goals.

Having so many years of experience in working with a variety of ages and backgrounds, I am able to build rapport with my clients and to utilize many different therapy techniques to propel you to your goals and a healthier life.

Faith based therapy

As a Christian, I respect each client for their own belief system. When a client comes to me and desires to incorporate their faith into the therapy experience, I am equipped to utilize faith-based principals to propel client towards their goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are intertwined and learning to recognize thinking patterns is the beginning of managing emotions and behaviors.

Couples Counseling

Counseling couples has been a passion of mine. Helping couples reduce conflict, build positive experiences and better communication skills is the start of moving the relationship to a healthier point.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have experience working with multiple clients as they process trauma. Using TFCBT principles, the client will build coping skills, gain education on the impact of trauma, and actively work through their trauma experiences towards healing.

Grief Therapy

Providing a safe environment for processing grief can be an important step towards healing. Everyone experiences grief differently and I have several years of experience in supporting clients through grief.
