I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from William Paterson University, a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University in Social Work with a focus on Addiction, an LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a MHS- Mental Health Screener certification and a License Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor for the State of NJ. As a social worker/Mental Health Provider, I have always been present and have an active involvement with any population that I am servicing, having the same thought pattern and work ethic that will hold me accountable for ensuring the well-being of the individuals, students, children, and families that I provide services to.
The first session is usually where we get to know each other. While I will ask questions, clients are welcomed and encouraged to ask plenty of questions
I am able to relate and understand those that I service. I listen, I am empathetic, however, I encourage my client while also focusing on accountability and responsibility
If you are ready to focus on the journey of self-discovery, I am willing to take the ride with you.
I use this treatment method to help client's become aware of their thoughts, emotions, values and beliefs. I use this to help client identify negative thinking and how to begin to change how we view things or help client's see things or understand certain situations through a different lens.
I utilize this approach to focus on strategically finding solutions to problems and making positive changes.
