Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a therapist, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients manage a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, anger management and stress. CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, aiming to identify and change negative patterns. I start by assessing the client's concerns and setting clear, achievable goals. I educate clients about the CBT model to help them understand how their thoughts influence their feelings and behaviors. Together, we identify, and challenge distorted or irrational thoughts using tools. I would guide you to reframing negative thoughts into more balanced and realistic ones. I regularly review progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed. Towards the end of therapy, we focus on strategies to maintain progress and prevent relapse. This approach allows me to tailor CBT to each client's unique needs.
