Hello there. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in California. I have extensive experience working with youth, adults, and families from a variety of backgrounds. In my sessions I use CBT, Attachment Theory, and trauma informed practices, but most importantly I show up with empathy, humor, and patience. I value working collaboratively alongside my clients. I believe that you are the expert on your life and my role is to provide support and guidance along the way. I often help people struggling with depression and anxiety, family and interpersonal relationship challenges, career and school stress, and self-esteem. I'm glad you're here and I look forward to meeting you!
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session you can expect to spend some time sharing about yourself, what brings you into therapy, and what you hope to get out of our time together. You get to set the pace and share what is comfortable for you. We will also spend a few minutes going over some business items.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Those who know me in my personal and professional life would say that I am a very calm, grounded, and approachable person, even in uncomfortable and stressful moments. I have also had my own journey in therapy, so I know what it feels like to be the client in the room. These qualities helps me be compassionate and authentic, and create a safe space for growth and healing.
