Hello!! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Masters of Social Work from California State University, Northridge and have been practicing for 7 years. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and postpartum. I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings, develop coping strategies, and find hope.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and non-judgmental space where we'll begin to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns, and discuss your goals for treatment. This initial session is an opportunity for you to share your story, ask any questions you have, and for us to start building a trusting therapeutic relationship. It's a collaborative process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in this field for 7 years, I have developed skills in encouragement of growth and resilience. I strive to always provide a safe space for my clients, deliver empathy, compassion, and active listening to truly hear what the clients are saying, which allows for a better understanding of their needs and concerns.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Therapy offers numerous benefits, including improved emotional regulation, enhanced self-awareness, and the development of effective coping mechanisms. I enjoy working with my clients with guidance leading them to gain valuable insights into their thoughts and behaviors, and build resilience, and cultivate a stronger sense of well-being. Whether you are struggling with overwhelming anxiety, the depth of depression, or the unique emotional landscape of pregnancy and postpartum, I'm here to support you on your journey to wellness.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use this method to focus on identifying and changing any negative thought patterns and behaviors. I work with my clients to recognize distorted thinking, challenge the thoughts, and replace them with more realistic and positive ones. This method is short term and goal oriented amking it effective for anxiety, depression, and stress.

Psychodynamic

This method is longer-term and is aimed to increase self-awareness and understanding the root causes of emotional distress. I use this to uncover underlying psychological conflicts that are often rooted in childhood that influence present behavior and relationships.
