Do you worry that you may have ADHD? Are you a young professional struggling with burnout? Are panic attacks and/or anxiety interfering with your quality of life? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I’d love to meet you! I enjoy helping college students, young adults, and teens navigate the overwhelming changes going on in their lives. As a therapist who has experienced her own mental health struggles, I understand the importance of having your feelings and experiences validated. My approach to therapy is laid-back and non-judgmental, and I love using humor to make difficult topics easier to discuss. I believe that therapy should be a safe space where you can be your authentic self. I’m passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming therapy to the Gen-Z population. I’m aware of the barriers that girls and women face when seeking assessment/services for ADHD and can help guide you through this process.
In our first session together, we'll complete an intake assessment and a treatment plan. We'll discuss the presenting problem(s) that brought you to therapy and review your current symptoms. We'll discuss your goals for therapy and I'll answer any questions you have about the therapeutic process. I can also provide you with information on the treatment approaches and modalities that I offer.
I particularly enjoy helping others strengthen their emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I can help you recognize negative or unhelpful thinking patterns and teach you how to reframe those into more positive or helpful thoughts.
