Hi, I am Amber. I am a Christian-oriented therapist who seeks to help others feel empowered to make changes to better their lives. If you are struggling in an intimate relationship, have trauma holding you in bondage, or are trying to break free from addiction then I would love the opportunity to work with you in your counseling journey. I have worked with clients of all backgrounds and in various settings. I also work with many clients in the LGBTQ community. I also have extensive experience with clients who have dual diagnosis and are high risk. Do you struggle with sexual addictions? Are you currently questioning your sexual orientation or identity? Have you experienced trauma that continues to affect your quality of life? Are you struggling in a relationship and searching for answers? Do you have a severe mental illness, such as dissociative identity disorder or schizophrenia? If any of these questions apply to you, then please schedule an appointment to get started on your healing journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I strive to make clients feel comfortable and at ease in the therapeutic process. The first session is geared to obtain background and other relevant information. Counseling goals will be discussed and approaches will be tailored based on specific individual needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel one of my biggest strengths is being able to connect with my clients and build rapport. I feel connection is crucial to the therapeutic relationship. I want each client to know they are not just another patient on my caseload and make an effort to build a therapeutic relationship.
