Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself? I help adults and college students break free from anxiety, ADHD symptoms, and burnout so they can feel more focused, confident, and in control. I'm a licensed therapist who combines practical tools with real conversation to help you make lasting changes—even if you’ve been trying to figure it out on your own for years.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll take the pressure off and just focus on getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope will feel different. There’s no need to have it all figured out—I’ll guide the conversation and create a space where you can speak freely, without judgment or pressure to perform. By the end of the session, we’ll start to outline what our work together might look like and set some initial goals based on your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients often tell me they feel seen, understood, and less alone after just one session. I bring a balance of warmth and structure to the work—we can unpack the hard stuff, but we’ll also talk about real tools and forward momentum. I’m skilled at getting to the root of what’s keeping someone stuck, especially when they’ve been high-functioning for so long they didn’t realize how heavy things had gotten. I also bring a culturally responsive lens, honoring each client’s lived experience and helping them reconnect with their values, voice, and sense of purpose.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I’m best positioned to support adults and college students who appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, unfocused, or emotionally drained on the inside. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, or big life transitions like starting college, changing careers, or managing new roles and responsibilities. You might be constantly overthinking, procrastinating, or pushing through—even when you're exhausted. Therapy with me is a space to pause, reflect, and learn tools that actually work for your life. If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start making real, sustainable progress, you’re in the right place.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I frequently use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients move through stuck patterns, reduce emotional avoidance, and build a life aligned with their values. With over a decade of experience, I’ve found ACT to be especially effective for clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, and life transitions. ACT helps us stop fighting painful thoughts and emotions and instead learn how to relate to them in a healthier way. In session, I guide clients in identifying the internal narratives keeping them stuck (“I’m not good enough,” “I’ll fail if I try”) and support them in developing greater psychological flexibility. We use mindfulness, values clarification, and committed action so they can build momentum toward the life they want—even with discomfort present. Whether we’re working through perfectionism, avoidance, or the pressure to “have it all together,” ACT allows us to honor what’s hard without letting it run the show. I integrate ACT with a culturally responsive lens, helping clients break free from patterns that no longer serve them and take empowered steps forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the main approaches I use to help clients navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and major life transitions. It’s especially effective for those dealing with self-doubt, overthinking, or adjusting to new seasons of life—whether it’s college, career shifts, or stepping into adulthood. CBT helps us break down the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In therapy, I guide clients in identifying unhelpful patterns—like negative self-talk, procrastination, or people-pleasing—and help them build healthier, more empowering ways of thinking and responding. My approach to CBT is practical, collaborative, and tailored to what’s happening in real life. Whether we’re processing a tough semester, job burnout, or changes in identity or roles, we focus on developing tools and insight that clients can carry with them beyond the session.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Therapy is a powerful approach I often use when clients feel stuck or overwhelmed and need support identifying their next steps. Instead of staying too long in the problem, we focus on strengths, what’s working (even if just a little), and how to build on that. This approach is especially helpful during periods of transition—like starting college, navigating career changes, or adjusting to new roles—when clarity and small wins matter. In our work, I ask intentional, future-oriented questions that help clients uncover their inner resources and begin shifting their attention toward what they can control. Clients often leave sessions with a renewed sense of hope, direction, and momentum. I use Solution-Focused Therapy both on its own and blended with other approaches when clients need practical, goal-oriented support that doesn’t feel overwhelming.
