Hello and welcome to Rekindled Connections Therapy! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I have my Masters in Social Work and have been practicing for the past 6 years. Through compassionate therapy sessions tailored to each clients unique needs, I help young adults and adults explore the roots of their challenges and work collaboratively to cultivate resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connections. My goal is to establish a safe and supportive environment where clients can rekindle connections—to themselves, to others, and to the world around them.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming environment where they'll have the opportunity to share their concerns, goals, and what they hope to achieve through therapy. I'll take the time to get to know them, including their background, strengths, and values. We'll discuss confidentiality and the therapeutic process, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed. Together, we'll begin to outline a plan for our work together, explore potential strategies or approaches that may be helpful, and begin creating the foundation for a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths lie in my ability to empathize deeply with my clients, establish a strong therapeutic alliance, and create a safe and nonjudgmental space for exploration and growth. I also pride myself on being a skilled active listener, allowing me to understand my clients' unique perspectives and experiences fully. Additionally, my extensive training and experience in various therapeutic modalities equip me with a diverse toolkit to tailor interventions to meet each client's individual needs effectively.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a licensed clinical social worker, I have extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a treatment method. CBT focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors to promote healthier coping mechanisms and emotional well-being. In my practice, I integrate CBT techniques into therapy sessions by helping clients recognize distorted thinking, develop problem-solving skills, and implement behavioral strategies to address their concerns effectively. By collaboratively setting goals and providing practical tools, I empower clients to make meaningful changes in their lives and improve their overall mental health.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma Informed Care is integral to my practice. It involves understanding the pervasive impact of trauma on individuals' lives and ensuring that every interaction within the therapeutic process is sensitive to their trauma history. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences without fear of judgment or retraumatization. Utilizing trauma-informed approaches such as psychoeducation, mindfulness techniques, and grounding exercises, I aim to help clients develop coping strategies, build resilience, and ultimately reclaim a sense of agency over their lives. Additionally, I collaborate with clients to integrate trauma narratives into their overall treatment plan, recognizing the importance of validating their lived experiences while also creating a sense of hope and healing.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach focuses on identifying and amplifying client strengths to create positive change in a short period. In my practice, I use SFBT techniques to help clients envision their desired future and identify steps to achieve it. By emphasizing clients' resources and abilities, SFBT empowers them to take control of their lives and find solutions to their challenges efficiently. It's a collaborative process that prioritizes clients' goals and builds on their existing strengths to create meaningful change.
