My name is Carla Bryant and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I have experience providing individual therapy for those in school, adults who have experienced homelessness, justice-involved clients and individuals who have experienced physical and sexual abuse. I have worked with clients who have experienced loss, self-esteem issues, sexual exploitation, PTSD, parenting concerns, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and many other impairments that prevent them from being the best versions of themselves. I believe that healing can begin at any stage in life and that it is a process, best explored with someone you are comfortable with. I understand therapy may be difficult for some to engage in but your journey towards change and healing will be rewarding. As a therapist, I will always provide a safe space for you to explore your needs and voice your concerns. My goal is to guide and assist you in finding your peace and purpose in life. Though this is not an easy task and at times it may be difficult to discuss situations involving family, work, relationships, and life, please know that I will work together with you during this process. Change is possible and never forget you are worth it! Let’s begin your journey.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Your first session with me will be a way for us to get to know one another. I will be discussing in detail your intake form, to ensure all information is accurate, and to add information that may be missing. This also gives us the opportunity to see if we are the best fit for one another, as it is important that you find a therapist who can assist you in reaching your goals. I look forward to meeting you.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal therapy, Solutions focused, Attachment-Based, and Culturally Sensitive treatment.
