Feeling stuck, lonely, lost or sad? If you’re looking for someone to help you during this difficult time, you’ve come to the right place. It takes a lot of strength to seek help. I have experience working with adolescents and adults from all different backgrounds including Navy and Marine reservists and active duty. Although I’m not military, I really take pride in helping those who serve our country.I also have a passion for working with women struggling with postpartum issues as well. Having a new child can be both challenging and exhausting, yet also rewarding. I want to be here to help with these difficult times…I’ve been there. As a mom of two, I can relate to the difficulties of motherhood. Given my background and experience, I really enjoy working with a variety of individuals and hearing everyone’s story. We all struggle, but it’s important to find someone who is willing to listen and provide support, without feeling like you’re being judged. Let me be that person for you. When we’re able to see things from a different perspective, it helps us find a better solution to the problem. I’m not someone who is going to tell you what to do, but someone who will help you problem solve and find what works best for you. I want to work with you and help you become a better and happier you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, you will be asked to complete a variety of forms and questions. The first session is not indicative of what future sessions will look like. We will use this time to get to know each other. This session will help me gain a better understanding of you as a person and areas that are of concern for you. We will develop a treatment plan and goals. Without goals, therapy can sometimes feel as though there is no direction. My goal for each session is for you to feel heard, seen and learn something new that will help you cope with your concerns. I often ask that your put in the work because that is the only way to see positive results.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have extensive experience working with military members, both active duty and reservists. I’m able to explore positive coping skills to help minimize stressors. In addition to working with the military population, I am a mom and love to work with other mothers who are struggling with being a mom, postpartum issues or even those having relationship problems.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My preferred treatment method is Cognitive behavioral therapy. CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. CBT can be an effective tool to help anyone learn how to better manage stressful life situations.
