I am Nashonne. Over the past, 13 years, I've been offering therapy services in the state of Pennsylvania. Through my experiences, I've built an eclectic style of counseling that involves providing a secure space for the client to allow themselves to be vulnerable, address their issues at their core and grow. Some of the spaces where I have worked include community mental health, private practice, homeless shelters and the Department of Corrections. In my time outside of the office, I like to travel with family and explore new foods and venues.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I like to focus on building a strong, therapeutic relationship, early in therapy. We will spend time getting to know each other and examining your reasons for coming to therapy. You can expect to learn about your brain, body, nervous system and how they are affected by your stressors and traumas.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I am certified in working with trauma. Therefore, you will find that I do work from a trauma-focused perspective. This means that in addition to offering traditional talk therapy, I offer evidence based interventions such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, Mindfulness and Psycho education.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Some of the areas that I enjoy working in with clients include but are not limited to unresolved trauma, childhood abuse and attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, life transitions and women's issues.
