What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Understanding the problems from your perspective and getting to understand they system you are a part of.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I practice from a systems perspective, which means that I view clients’ actions, thoughts, and feelings as a result of the systems within which they live. I encourage clients to think about their larger context and how they fit into the picture when it comes to relationships, families, communities, teams, and workplaces. I help clients set goals for themselves, whether those goals are for a state of wellbeing, a level of performance at work or in their sport, or a better place in their relationships. I then supports client as they work towards their goals, circling back to why they’re in therapy as a way of reminding them where they’re headed.
