I enjoy helping people who are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or defeated while encountering life’s challenges. We will work together to sort through unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that may be interfering with a sense of hope and enjoyment of life. Whether the stress is related to relationships, career, academics, family or health, my goal is to work collaboratively to help decrease the barriers that are getting in the way of feeling your best emotional or physical self. In addition to utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Strength and Solution Focused Therapy, among others, my 20+ years as a health professional can be useful for clients who want to make health changes but are finding it challenging to do so.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy. We will then start to explore areas to work on including strategies to meet your goals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Primarily, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Strength-Based and Solution- Focused Therapy to help clients change negative thoughts and behaviors and create more room for a positive mind-frame, habits and health.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel my biggest strength is providing empathy, space and patience for clients to feel welcome, understood and comfortable while working on the difficult aspects of their lives.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Young adult + I enjoy working with individuals who are trying to improve their overall quality of life while navigate anxiety that comes with life's stressors.
