Hi! Welcome to my practice, Central West Behavioral Health (https://centralwestcounseling.com/). I am looking forward to our first meeting. We have offices in Tampa (13902 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, Florida 33618) and Spring Hill (4138 Lamson Ave, Spring Hill, Florida 34608) for in-person appointments. I have a broad range of training and experience in different counseling approaches, including the American Psychiatric Association and World Health Organization-approved treatment modalities like EMDR (for PTSD and other trauma-related disorders), CBT, DBT, Psychoanalytic Approaches, and other traditional treatment modalities for mood disorders and addiction. My counseling practice embraces changes, focusing on a more fulfilling life and coping with one’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work with clients individually to understand their issues and apply evidence-based treatment methods to meet their needs. My therapeutic approach in couples/family therapy focuses on increasing understanding and empathy, helping the couples validate one another, and strengthening their communication. I have experience working with individuals struggling with PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety, Addiction, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anger and Grief. I utilize a positive, collaborative, and person-centered approach to assist clients in meeting their goals and developing skills to reach their fullest potential. I look forward to working with you. "Working with People, Changing Lives."
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then discuss the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have over 22 years of experience working with couples, families, and adults. I am thorough in treatment modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and other insight-building psychoanalytic approaches.

I have a broad range of training and experience in different counseling approaches, including the American Psychiatric Association and World Health Organization-approved treatment modalities like EMDR (for PTSD and other trauma-related disorders), CBT, DBT, Psychoanalytic Approaches, and other traditional treatment modalities for mood disorders, addiction, anger management and Borderline Personality Disorder.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT helps people control emotions when they have difficulty managing them. DBT treatment also helps to build and transform damaged interpersonal relationships in the case of people suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder.
