I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping children and families learn how to build healthier relationships within themselves and with others. I earned my Masters in Science, in Counseling Psychology. I have worked with families for the last 12 years in a school setting, and community setting. I learned to work with the family in their homes and collaborate with community resources to maintain family cohesiveness. I provide psychoeducation on social-emotional skills and help facilitate between parents, school staff and clinician teams to ensure the child client needs are being met. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session will start with introduction, then I'll be asking you a lot of questions about you, how you cope, and your symptoms (it's basically an interview). We will also chat about goals for therapy, expectations, and more.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
My work focuses on Solution Focus therapy. I believe in listening, seeking a solution and building resources or building skills that focus on solutions rather than solving concerns.
