That’s where I come in. My job is to empower my clients to become more effective problem solvers. I teach them how to be confident, how to harness emotions instead of just avoiding them, and how to discover and channel a growth mindset. I utilize a skills based approach drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to help you create a multi-faceted toolbox that can be used to face challenges disrupting your life.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, I will review my policy on confidentiality and informed consent to ensure that you are aware of what to expect when working with me. I will then work with you to identify the specific concerns that contributed to your decision to reach out for support. This will assist me in developed a treatment plan that we will work towards in follow up sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have spent my career working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and addiction, as well as those navigating life transitions. I specialize in working along side recovery networks, with people from various economic backgrounds, and with those struggling to process time spent within the criminal Justice system.
