Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Kentucky. I received my Masters from the Bellevue University and received a certificate in advanced graduate studies from Salve Regina University in Holistic Counseling and have been practicing for 16 years. I specialized in helping young adults and men with life issues and transitions as well as teens through adulthood with anxiety, depression, and trauma issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have worked as a clinical director at mental health hospitals as well as overseeing residential programs for children and teens. I currently work as a therapist for the University of Louisville Athletic Dept providing therapy for the athletes. I have a broad array of experiences to help with your many needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts effect behaviors which effect your actions. CBT looks at this triangle and help change the way you think about life and your choices to help focus on more positive choices.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Works on bringing negative feelings that are inside you. They are there anyway, so why not deal with them. We then turn to more positive thoughts to help replace the negative.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Your body and mind, and thoughts are all connected. Mindfulness allows you to deal with both and help change the way your body and mind feel.
