4 years of experience

Hello there! I am a Licensed Therapist/ LCSW . I attained my Bachelors Degree from Appalachian State University in 2015 and my Masters Degree from Winthrop University. I have trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Focused -CBT. I tailor my approach to meet my clients goals and reach the best version of themselves. I believe that my clients possess the innate ability to know what their needs are and I am positioned to encourage and assist them in meeting their personal goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will be visiting a wide range of questions to allow me to get to know you better. These questions will range from biological to social as well as history and current functioning. This assessment in the first session will allow me to get to know you and develop goals with you for us to focus on during treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked in Private Practice as well as Social Services and School Based settings as a provider and I have seen a wide variety of clients. I feel that I approach my clients with warmth and empathy to form a therapeutic relationship and view and regard my client and myself as a team working together.
