Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in the state of Maryland. I received my Master's Degree from Lincoln University (PA) in 2004. I have been licensed as an LCPC since 2017. I provide Individual Therapy towards adults struggling with emotional and mental challenges in an effort to bring out the best person in a safe environment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, introductions are made and ground rules are discussed (respect, language, confidentiality, expectations, etc). Then we will discuss the issue(s) that you are facing and together, create a plan to address your needs recognizing that the plan may change at any time as more information is discovered. This is a safe environment and you can be yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with adults for a long time, I feel that I am a good listener, empathetic towards one struggles and can develop measurable and obtainable goals to assist you in your journey in life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adults who are seeking and desiring assistance in improving their quality of life. My clients have concluded that a mental shift is necessary to becoming an "virtue" towards others and need tools to rely on when things get rocky. Sometimes they feel hopeless and overwhelmed and need someone to talk to.

Rodney Lyles was amazing. The conversation felt natural. We were just able to talk as if we’ve known each other for a good amount of time. He stresses the importance of taking care of myself. I really appreciate how thoughtful he was in his approach and his style of questioning. He got the information he needed but it felt natural.
