Hi, I’m Ali — a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I’m passionate about helping people create lives that feel meaningful, grounded, and joyful, even when life brings challenges. My approach centers on offering a warm, supportive, and non‑judgmental space where you can talk openly about what you’re facing, explore new ways of coping, and reconnect with a sense of peace moving forward. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, or big life transitions, we’ll work together to build tools that help you feel steady, empowered, and at home within yourself.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions to get acquainted, go over my practice policies and informed consent form, explore your current concerns, and discuss your desired outcome. We will finish our first session with the development of your individual plan for addressing the identified concerns through scheduled follow-up sessions.
I am relatable, energetic, and committed to helping you achieve your goals. I seek to make therapy a positive experience, and I offer many fun and easy strategies/skills for daily use in your life. I am versed and trained in a variety of concerns such as anxiety, life adjustments, peer or family conflicts, boundary setting struggles, & assertive communication skill building.
I work best with individuals who are insightful, motivated, and ready to make meaningful changes in their lives—even if they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start. My ideal clients are navigating anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, or patterns of people‑pleasing and self‑doubt. They’re often carrying a lot internally and are looking for a therapist who can offer both understanding and practical tools. In our work together, I help individuals make sense of their emotional experiences, strengthen communication and boundaries, and build confidence in their own voice. I blend warmth with structure, using evidence‑based approaches like CBT and solution‑focused strategies to create clear, achievable steps toward their goals. The individuals I serve value a collaborative, supportive space where they can explore what’s not working, recognize their strengths, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling patterns in their relationships and daily life
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I work collaboratively with you to identify and explore solutions that support movement toward your future goals. Using a Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy approach, I help you recognize existing strengths, resources, and the small changes already occurring in your life. I apply this method most often when supporting individuals navigating life transitions, managing anxious thoughts and feelings, addressing relationship challenges, and working through family conflict. The focus remains on what is working, what is possible, and the practical steps that can create meaningful progress.
Trauma Informed Care
I am a qualified Accelerated Resolution Therapy provider (ART). This is a unique psychotherapy that guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. Please inform me at your first visit if seeking this treatment.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you accept difficult thoughts and feelings, clarify personal values, and commit to meaningful actions rather than trying to eliminate distress. The goal is to help you learn to live fully in the present despite circumstances while pursuing what truly matters to you,
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by helping you identify the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I will teach you practical skills to shift unhelpful patterns. I use CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring to challenge distorted or self‑critical thinking, behavioral activation to increase engagement in meaningful activities, and structured problem‑solving to reduce overwhelming feelings or circumstances. Sessions often include skill-building, guided practice, and between‑session strategies to reinforce skills.
