Hi my name is Barbara Hayes but I am called Bobbie I’ve been working in the field of mental health for over 40 years and I am blessed that every day when I get up to go to work I do something that I really love. Doing therapy can be very difficult at times and I know that can be scary for somebody to decide to change their of life. My goal is to help that become easier and smoother for you. And walk alongside you while you do it.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
So during the session I often times will give homework either in written format or a task that I am going to ask you to do and I will also set follow-up times to be able to connect with you during the week to see how you’re doing.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I have a strong background in various therapy methods. I work a lot with gestalt therapy and cognitive behavior therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
So I been working in the field addictions for over 40 years. Says love me the opportunity to develop my group therapy skills might assessment skills and my ability be able to work with families. I’ve done a lot of work with her pendency over the years. I have about 25 years of experience working with eating disorders both men and women. I also work with people who have mental health disorders like depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I work with people who have made changes in their life whether it’s a marriage or a job and help them through that change. I consider myself be really caring and kind and also have the ability to be direct and honest.
