Relationships take effort and sometimes a helping hand is needed! Have the problems in your relationship grown like weeds in a garden? Do you find it difficult to see past the overgrowth of issues, despair, hurt, loss, and pain? Have you found that the important relationships that you nurtured, don't seem to be flourishing? I have a passion for working with couples. I believe compassion, understanding, and practicality are needed to help couples create the connections they want the most. My hope for you is that today, is the day, that you start to rebuild those bridges, to reconnect with your loved one, or resolve the obstacles impeding your relationship. I feel honored that you are willing to allow me to take the journey with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, clients can expect a comprehensive assessment to help me gain a deeper understanding of their unique challenges and goals. We’ll discuss confidentiality to ensure a safe and secure environment for our work together. I’ll also cover some practical housekeeping details, such as insurance and session logistics. To make the most of our time, I recommend finding a quiet and private space for our conversation, and for your safety, please avoid driving during the session. This initial meeting is an opportunity to establish a strong foundation for our therapeutic journey together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My style is pretty laid back. I'm down to earth, supportive, caring, compassionate; with a good sense of humor. I understand that coming to therapy can be difficult and unfamiliar therefore I strive to make therapy a safe and inviting space for you to be vulnerable and to unpack your emotions.

My treatment methods

Integrative

My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in integration, drawing from a variety of modalities to best support my clients. I incorporate insights from Family Systems, Gottman Therapy for relationships, Emotionally Focused Therapy for emotional bonding, Trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for addressing past experiences, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for fostering resilience and mindfulness. I believe in adapting these methods to suit each client's individual needs, guiding them to forge stronger, more resilient connections and navigate life's emotional complexities with greater clarity and empowerment
