Hi, I am a licensed MFT and I have been working with individuals and couples for 7 years. I work with adults who feel stuck and want to experience more choice, freedom, peace, and vitality in their lives. I guide clients to explore the patterns that hold them back. Often that means encountering past heartbreaks and the adaptations that resulted. This deep work is challenging at times but leads to deep change and growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then we will explore what you are hoping to get out of therapy. I am interested to learn what you are most wanting for yourself. This will help me to develop treatment goals and a direction for our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is warm, curious, and engaged. I help clients learn to disengage from automatic and reactive patterns and to begin to lead more fulfilling lives.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals who feel stuck in patterns that have led them to feel frustrated, alone, depressed, anxious, and unfulfilled. The most successful client are hungry for change and committed to the growth process.

My treatment methods

Relational

My approach is warm, curious, and engaged. We will work together to discover the obstacles that hold you back and find new ways forward.

Psychoanalytic

I guide you in exploring what is unconsciously motivating behaviors that are leading you to feel stuck. I understand that real change happens we understand what is at the root of an issue.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I understand that human beings are multifaceted. We can want something for ourselves but also be holding ourselves back. It can be hard to understand why we think and behave the ways we do. In IFS we explore the parts involved in and issue and learn about what they do for us and how they show up in our lives. It makes inner conflict makes so much sense.
