I am a LCSW based in New York. I bring a collaborative and empathetic approach, utilizing a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, EMDR, and a strengths-based perspective. With a focus on empowering clients, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their challenges and unlock their potential for growth. I specialize in supporting individuals with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, sleep disorders, relationship and marriage issues, self-esteem, career barriers, family dynamics, and life transitions. My work is rooted in the belief that healing and personal growth are possible through honest exploration, motivated change, and the development of independence. Having worked as a social worker in NYC since 2015, I am committed to helping clients build lasting change and resilience through practical problem-solving, skill-building, and a focus on their unique strengths. My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to lead more fulfilling lives and achieve their goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session you will inform me of your current goals, future goals, and likes/dislikes in therapy (if you have tried therapy before). I'll also gather some background information on your personal history and mental health. This allows me to better understand the challenges you're facing and how best to tailor our approach.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Too many times, I hear people say that they attended therapy and they didn't feel like their therapist was engaging. My clients share that they appreciated hearing different outlooks, perspectives, and thought-provoking questions during our sessions. As a therapist, my strengths are rooted in being honest, thoughtful, and deeply collaborative. I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships with my clients, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported. I take a patient approach, recognizing that healing and growth take time, and I am committed to walking alongside clients as they navigate their challenges. I bring a sense of humor to my practice, helping to lighten difficult moments and make the therapeutic process feel more approachable and less daunting. My ability to blend empathy with practical, solution-focused strategies allows me to guide clients in a way that feels both supportive and empowering. I am dedicated to creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their concerns while also fostering independence and resilience. Whether using evidence-based methods like CBT, mindfulness, or EMDR, or simply being there to listen, my goal is always to empower clients to move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of hope.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

The clients I am best positioned to serve can be either new to therapy or have tried working with several different clinicians. We can meet for a consultation to determine if I am the best fit for you.
