You have carried the burden of this for a long time, and you are ready to move forward with hope and a renewed sense of joy? Reaching out for support can be the hardest step, so you have already accomplished that! Let's start this journey of healing for you. You can create the life you want. One full of joy, hope, peace and fullfillment. I would love to journey along side of you to accomplish what your goals and visions are for you life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You will expereience a safe, sacred place to express yourself fully. You will feel fully embraced and accepted. You will know I am here for you and what you want to create for your life. You will experience compassion and care for your story. You will be accepted for who you are, where you have come from and where you want to go. You will take away confidence and love for yourself. You will learn how to care for yourself, understand patterns of thoughts and behaviors that have not served you well and gain skills to change any of those patterns to those that will help you live a more fullfilled life. You will gain insights and strategies on how to identify feelings and how to best express them.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use cognitive behavioral therapy, which is looking at how your thoughts and feelings and impact behavior. We look at cognitive distortions-things you may be making assumptions about, and learn how to challenge and change those thought patterns. I use truama informed care, providing psychoeducation and support around your trauma story. Trauma is something that happens to us, it does not define us. I use the flash technique to help reduce the intensity of stress, anxiety and fear one experiences as a result of trauma. I use Trust Based Relational Intervention to help one understand attachment from childhood and how this impacts our relationships with others, especially in parenting our own children. I use active listening and a non-judgemental approach as we work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths are caring with compassion. Being non-judegmental. I have an open heart to hear your story, your concerns, your struggles so I can help you move forward in life. I want you to grow to love yourself in a way maybe you never have before. Offer grace and a place you feel safe and heard and known.
