Do you want to finally feel heard and make progress with an experienced therapist? Whether you are facing big life decisions, having relationship issues, or healing from complex trauma, there is hope in recovery. I have extensive experience with providing mental health therapy, clinical supervision, and program management. Additional experience includes working with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, attention deficit disorder, mood disorders, personality disorders, and family relations issues.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we’ll start with introductions, discuss reasons for coming to therapy, dive into current challenges, and gather background information. We will work together to define a goal for treatment that is client centered and in your own words. You can discuss things that your want to change as well as current coping skills. At the end of the session we will schedule follow-up sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Over the years, I learned that therapeutic alliance is a factor that improves progress for clients. Action steps involve ensuring that my clients have mutually agreed on the treatment goals and therapy approach to be used to achieve these goals. I encourage all clients to fill out post session surveys to help me better understand their experience of therapy with me.
