Let's face it. Life can get messy, confusing and even scary at times. None of us are immune to it. If you're struggling to navigate your problems, thoughts, emotions, or relationships that are weighing you down, let's talk! Your feelings matter. Your dreams matter. You matter. You are not a failure. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (With a dual masters degrees in Social Work and Public Administration) and a Certified Relationships Trainer, I can help you navigate the "life things" that seem to be too much on your own. Let's walk together as you sort it all out, face the unknown with confidence, and embrace the best version of yourself.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During the first session, you can expect an environment that is relaxed and welcoming. I will explain the therapy process, discuss confidentiality and privacy policies, and answer any questions you may have about therapy. I will listen attentively, without judgment, and actively engage with you to gain a comprehensive understanding of your unique situation, strengths, and needs. I will conduct an initial assessment, which may involve asking questions about your presenting issues, personal history, current stressors, and any previous therapy experiences. I may introduce some therapeutic techniques or exercises to help you start building insight and coping skills right from the first session. Overall, you can expect to feel heard, understood, and supported as you take the first steps towards healing and positive change in your life.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My best strengths lie in my abilities to cultivate genuine connections, create a supportive environment, and help you strategize and problem-solve in ways that will empower you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery. My deep empathy allows me to genuinely connect with you, understanding your experiences and emotions without judgment. My skill in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space fosters an environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, feelings, and concerns openly. I hope that this sense of safety encourages you to engage in therapy authentically and to delve into sensitive or challenging topics without fear. I also demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in my therapeutic interventions, drawing from a diverse range of techniques and modalities to meet evolving needs. Lastly, I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health and beyond.
