Hello! I am a doctorally prepared board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I received my education from the University of Florida. My ultimate goal is to help individuals achieve optimal mental well-being and enhance their quality of life by providing medication management, education, and guidance. I empower patients to navigate their mental health challenges and develop coping strategies that promote long-term recovery.
In the first session, clients can expect a thorough assessment, including discussing their medical and mental health history, current symptoms, and goals. I will build rapport, explain the treatment process, and collaboratively develop an initial care plan tailored to their unique needs and concerns.
My greatest strength as a psychiatric nurse practitioner is my empathetic, patient-centered approach. I build strong therapeutic relationships, fostering trust and collaboration. I serve adolescents to older adults, addressing issues like anxiety, depression, substance use, and transitional life phases. Using approaches like Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and medication management, I provide empathetic, evidence-based, personalized care to enhance coping skills and overall mental well-being across different life stages.
