Hi there, I'm Stephen. Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help people manage anxiety and depression. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self-approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My belief is that we only grow through intentional effort and action. In between our sessions, I'll provide you with the opportunity to apply new skills and techniques tailored to your situation. Only through rehearsal and application can we develop new habits and skills.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My primary treatment approach is Cognitive Behavior Therapy. We will explore cognitive and behavioral patterns that have become problematic. Cognitive restructuring and behavioral activation strategies will be utilized to promote your emotional wellness and life satisfaction. Although Cognitive Behavior Therapy is the modality I most often pull from, I'll also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques and mindfulness exercises on a regular basis.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With nearly 2 decades of experience in the behavioral health field, I'm well versed in helping people learn to manage mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. I'm comfortable working with clients of all ages and pride myself on being both flexible and sensitive to the needs of my clients. I recognize that we all have many competing demands on our time and my goal is to provide a safe, welcoming place for all to share their story.
