I am a licensed clinical social worker, addiction specialist associate, and certified integrative mental health provider who takes a holistic and trauma-informed approach to treating mental health and substance abuse disorders. Currently, I am going through training to become a certified ketamine-assisted psychotherapy provider. I utilize an eclectic array of evidence-based modalities to provide client-centered care. With me as your provider, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental safe space to explore what is keeping you stuck in current patterns and challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

A mental health intake session involves gathering comprehensive information about the client, understanding their mental health history, current symptoms, and exploring their goals for therapy. It provides a foundation for building a therapeutic relationship, developing a treatment plan tailored to the client's needs, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the client to address their mental health concerns.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I excel in providing relevant and helpful guidance, promoting self-care practices, and facilitating a supportive environment for individuals seeking mental health support. My dedication to upholding ethical standards and respecting the boundaries of client-provider relationships allows me to offer valuable assistance while prioritizing client well-being and confidentiality. I strive to continuously enhance my knowledge and skills to better serve my clients and contribute positively to the mental health community.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of the main modalities used in anxiety and depression treatment with many years of research and evidence of treatment efficacy.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a great modality for focusing on emotion regulation, distress tolerance etc. This modality is often used in conjunction with either modalities as well.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT has many great aspects such as value-based living, which I utilize often in aims to assist in decreasing emotional distress.

Attachment-based

Attachment theory has been a valuable tool in understanding why we react to situations the way we do. It is very valuable in interpersonal relationship dynamics.

Integrative

I believe in holistic, integrative treatment that focuses on mind-body connection.
